Very insightful indeed. I was fascinated by his "Daffodils", but now realize that there are many more crown jewels above and beyond "Daffodils". It just so happens one of my favorite poems is Wordsworth's "She Dwelt Among the Untrodden Ways". Its' beauty and heartfelt words prompeted me to write my first novel, "William & Lucy". England was at war with France when the poet, a young man at the time, met the mysterious 17-year-old Lucy, the subject of 5 of Wordworth's poems. Who was she? Did she ever exist? Or was she a compliation of his sister and a friend? No one will ever know. She is one of literary history's more enduring mysteries. My novel identifies Lucy as a living beautiful young woman and the love of William's life... Michael Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05470668511859547712noreply@blogger.com
